Tom Pederson

Around Town welcomes former NHL, National Team, and Gopher Hockey Player Tom Pederson back to Minnesota promoting his company Green Biscuit.

A defenseman from Bloomington Jefferson; Pederson played for the Gophers and was a finalist for Mr. Hockey back in 1988. At the close of his first season at the University of Minnesota, he'd already been selected by the local Minnesota North Stars in the 1989 Entry Draft. Pederson, however, elected to stay the course at school until the end of the 1990-91 campaign. He then skated for the U.S. National Team for the bulk of the season that followed. At about the same time, the NHL held a dispersal draft with Pederson's rights being picked up by the San Jose Sharks. Pederson played 5 Seasons in the NHL (four with the San Jose Sharks and one with the Toronto Maple Leafs) playing Pro Hockey for 10 years retiring in 1999.

The Green Biscuit is an off-ice training hockey puck that will help you and your team develop passing and stick handling skills that will blow your competition away. The Biscuit weighs about an ounce less than a hockey puck but with the added friction from the concrete or asphalt it acts just like the real thing on ice.
